To win back the Oval Office, the GOP nominee needs to be strong in Ohio, Florida, and Virginia. The red states listed on the map (Santorum) are largely safe GOP states. Santorum won’t beat Obama in swing states. Romney or Ron Paul might. That’s the case for electability.
