North Carolina is only crazy in that she can’t change her vote after it’s cast.

To be fair, she probably can’t change her vote when it impacts outcomes on these unless a majority allows it, which I believe (don’t have the rules in front of me) is how Virginia does it as well. Since a clear majority was present even without her to override the veto, that same majority probably stands against her changing the vote.

In addition, the House Minority Leader ensured veto overrides wouldn’t be considered, and the Speaker didn’t acknowledge her attempt to get his attention.

It’s crazy, but probably not as crazy as you might think.
