Hello, new front yard.
It’s the little things you take with you.
I’m sorry if you’ve sent me a message recently and I didn’t respond. I’ve gotten a promotion within Tumblr that requires moving to New York in a pretty quick timeframe, and working out the logistics of that has taken a lot of my time recently.
Richmond is a wonderful city, and exactly what I needed when I turned 18 and moved out of rural Virginia. But it’s easy to conflate comfort with contentment, and what I need now isn’t going to be found here.
There are points in a person’s life when, in order to reach that next big thing, you’ve got to make a leap. The path you’re on hits a gap, and there’s a real danger of falling. I’ve attempted those leaps in the past, and still have the injuries to show for it.
But the biggest mistake one can make is to never try again. So here’s to Richmond, to New York, to risks, and to living.
PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO READ THIS AND REPOST.
Kaia Sorenson boarded a bus for New York City Saturday the 18th from Richmond, Virginia to New York City.
We have not heard from her since. She left her cell phone at home and was planning to return here this past Tuesday (Feb 21).
She told people that she was going to stay with a friend and was going to model for a photo shoot. No information has been found on either person.
If you have seen Kaia or know anything PLEASE contact OP. Thank you!
